Lynn works with oil paint, encaustic (beeswax and pigment) and mixed media to create passionate, intense works that often focus on texture. By manipulating surfaces, scratching, scraping and incising, she exposes underlying layers and the trajectory of her paintings. Sizes range from mini to huge. Commissions accepted.

Directions: From the Armdale Roundabout in Halifax, take Herring Cove Road to the sign for Old Sambro Road. Turn right. Continue past two stoplights to a four-way stop. Turn right. Continue for about 20 minutes to Sambro. Turn right at Mishoo's Kwikway onto West Pennant Road (past the turn for Crystal Crescent Beach). Continue for 5 minutes. Look for the sign of the pear. Alternative directions: follow Ketch Harbour Road along the coast. GPS: 44 28 06N  63 39 18W
