Products include Aran sweaters, kilt hose, boiled wool hats, mitts, slippers and thrummed items in adult and child sizes. We produce items for re-enactors, living history museums and film industry.

Wildfire Pottery

Wildfire Pottery features the artistry of Sarah Beck. Sarah is best known for her raku pottery sculptures of puffins, bears, owls and other animals which exhibit whimsy and charm, but she also makes intricate laser cut jewellery, prints and cards of her colorful animal portrait paintings and a multitude of other creations.

29Colouratura Fine Art Gallery

This large former church offers a great ambiance to browse our wonderful selection of original oil, watercolour, acrylic and mixed media paintings, photography, jewelry, sculpture, hand crafted chocolates. Over 30 artists most from Cape Breton are represented including William Rogers, Janice Guinan, Chris Gorey and Kris Tynski. Classical Piano Festival with concerts in August & September.

Glass Artisans Studio & Gallery features stained glass by Wendy Smith, the owner and 20 additional glass artisans. Working studios for glass blowing, flame working, stained glass and glass enameling are on site. Visitors are welcome to watch glass being made by the many different artists. Classes available if booked in advance.
