He works en plein air and from real life,creating large studio pieces as well as etchings, mono-prints, and reproductions. Much of his work depicts Nova Scotia, but also includes works from his travels.

42Dawn MacNutt

Miniature to monumental sized sculpture, can be seen in Dawn's charming rural studio on the way to Melmerby Beach. Her sculptures are inspired by human form and often woven from willow. Increasingly, her work is cast in bronze and is sometimes coloured. Her work can be found in public collections, provincially and internationally.

Bedford Studios / Cape Breton Bronze

Carolyn is a painter who works from live models and plein aire. She is now reviving her photography and exploring with digital. She also works with a variety of mediums and subject matter. She uses clay for sculpture; and casts with lost wax and pours in her backyard foundry. A long time exhibitor, her work can also be viewed at Lyghtesome Gallery, Antigonish.

25Lismore Sheep Farm Wool Shop

This century old restored barn is filled with wool in many forms. Yarn, wool blankets, knitted goods, sheepskins products and felted work, all created by local artists. Bring the family, meet our sheep, see their wool in our shop. Farmers markets on summer Sundays with local artists.
