Avon River Metalworks
Known as “the reluctant artist”, Al Simm creates metal sculptures and functional architectural pieces. His diverse portfolio includes custom fireplace screens, stair railings and gates, tabletop sculptures of plants, and commanding floral sculptures and signposts for yards. Many of his sculptures are permanently “planted” in downtown Windsor.

Beverly's pieces are inspired by the garden–her summer studio. During the winter she constructs organic sculptures using natural materials. Visit & enjoy a homemade Lavender ice cream while you leisurely stroll the gardens or enjoy a meditative walk through a flower labyrinth. You will also discover a gourmet line of herb jellies & flavourful liqueurs.

Windsong Studio and Gallery
Inspired by the beauty & diversity of gardens, woodlands and the ever-changing coast, Twila creates realistic paintings of natural subjects: birds, butterflies, flowers, landscapes & seascapes. Art On School Studio
Shela's wistful renderings of the exotic entrance the viewer with lost worlds. Enchanting faces and big cats leap across the page or rest languidly on a porcelain plate. Her inspiration is ephemeral, fed by tales of the ancient. The transcendent lens is a vista that Shela is well conversed in.

Flight of Fancy
It's as though he's directing traffic in Nature by guiding some of her most beautiful flying creatures onto ancient earthbound formations. While the stone is inordinately heavy, the flight of a bird is light–as a feather. The Stone is the Planet and we're all just passing through, here for the briefest moment.

Celebrating Charles William Macdonald, seaman, labourer, manufacturer and artist at the turn of the 20th century, who traveled abroad on tall ships and steamers and returned with uncommon ideas—this, his fantastical former concrete factory-cum-residence and grounds are adorned with his statuary, and the interior studio space exhibits his art and that of local artisans.
